Origins of The Celtfather Name, Cornwall Daily, Pirates vs. Dragons Thanks
The Celtfather...
Meet Marc Gunn, The Celtfather. He's a Celtic Geek who plays Sci F'Irish music. That's like Irish drinking songs fused together with science fiction and fantasy. It's a thing!
The Celtfather loves music. He loves to travel. He loves his Celtic heritage and science fiction. Don your kilt and get inspired by exciting travels to Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic adventures. Enjoy stories about music inspired by Star Wars, Star Trek, hobbits, Firefly, and even cats.
Last month, I recorded an episode of the Pub Songs Podcast where
I talked about the
Origins of The Celtfather Name. Les Howard responded with an
audio clip sharing the exact episode of the The Signal Podcast
where that name was born. You can listen
and hear a Firefly song in that show.
Here's some other stuff you'll enjoy in this episode:
I offer thanks to all of my top supporters of my Pirates vs.
Dragons Kickstarter. Thanks to my Executive Producer, Rie Sheridan Rose. Thanks to my
Dragon Egg Rescuers: Cherry and Pat, and Angela
Hughes. Additional thanks to Fred McDonald, Kris Dobie, Randy
Hoffman, Kevin Monkhouse, Jason Denen, Ruth Acoya, Jim & Jan
Czenkusch, Ray Gonzalez.
I share some of my promotion ideas for Pirates vs. Dragons
including videos, pictures, and podcasts. My goal is to sell 120
copies of the album on CD Baby on July 27, 2015 when the album is
officially released.
I have two CD release shows. One is at Johnnie MacCracken's
Celtic Pub on July 23 and then an internet show on Concert Window on Thursday, July
28th.
I share a few plans for DragonCon (though we are not yet
confirmed yet), and GenCon. Several shows planned.
Album title idea: Irish Adventures on Higgin's Moon
Plus, I share some plans for Cornwall including a daily podcast
episode.
